Congratulations to one of NDG Hockey’s own, Noa Mainville, who played a pivotal role in leading her team to the finals of the prestigious Pee-Wee Quebec International Tournament this weekend!
Noa’s journey is a testament to dedication and passion, starting her hockey career with NDG Hockey in the Learn to Skate program at the tender age of 5. Over the years, she progressed through the ranks, honing her skills and building her confidence, all the way up to playing with the M13A Panthers in 2023.
This season, Noa made the bold move to transition to girls’ hockey, joining the M13AAA Amazones AAA Laval-Montréal. Her hard work and talent have clearly paid off, as she now has the incredible opportunity to showcase her skills on a world stage at this renowned tournament.
Noa is a true inspiration, not only to her teammates but also to all the young girls in our association who look up to her. Her journey is particularly meaningful to her younger sister Marion, who is proudly following in her footsteps as a player with the NDG M9 Jaguars all-girls team.
We couldn’t be prouder of Noa and the example she sets for the next generation of female hockey players. Keep shining, Noa!
